He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain John and Bessie O'Keefe Holmgren; and his wife Jennie Bellino Holmgren. He is survived by: his children, Gail McGuinness (Jay McKernan) of Groton, Kevin Holmgren (Sherrie) of Groton and Eric Holmgren (Dawn) of Mystic; his grandchildren, Kelly (Timothy Crowell), Brady, Ricky and Ben; and his great grandchildren, TJ, Jenna and Kinsley.
