Richard B. Kent Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard B. Kent Sr. of Groton, Connecticut, who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perley Kent, Sr. and Inez Matteson Kent; and his siblings, Perley, Jr., Edwin, Patricia Sintak and Carol Mather.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny; his son Richard B. Kent, Jr. of Gales Ferry; his daughter-in-law Loretta; his daughter Lori Polakoff; his son-in-law Phil of White Hall, MD; his sisters, Natalie Tognari, Nancy Adams and Barbara Garrison; his grandchildren, Tim Cross, Brittany, Justin Shayer, James, Ashton Flight, Ben, Abby Polakoff, Bradley Kent and Meghann; and his great grandchildren, Damien, Dean Cross, Landon and Jaxson Flight.
