With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Naomi Jones of Groton, Connecticut, born in Henderson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Howard Jones Sr. and Lucy Jones (Dunston); and her siblings, William Jones, Moses Jones Jr., Amos Jones, Virgina Jones and Doris Fields.
She is survived by: her daughter Carilla Imasuen (Nosa); her grandchildren, Isaiah, Joseph, Gabriel, Noah and Rachel; and her siblings, James Jones (Patricia) of Henderson, NC and Lucy White (Dennis) of Richmond, VA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (170 Flanders Rd, Mystic, CT 06355).
