He was predeceased by: his parents, Berton MacDonald and Emily MacDonald; his siblings, Susan, Jean and Robert; and his granddaughter Emily Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Donna MacDonald (Drader) of Groton; his children, Eileen (Ed McDonnell), Charles (Justin Gazard), Melissa (Christian Fortin) and Alan (Patricia Ryan); his granddaughters, Anna and Grace MacDonald; and his brother Douglas.
