We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, at the age of 80, Joanne L. Gager of Groton, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joanne has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald H. Gager; her daughter Debra Denison; and her sister Carol Stupplebean. She is survived by: her children, Loreen Wilson, Diane Cioci, Louis Perrino and Tina Perrino-Sgandura. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren.

“Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Joanne. She was always there for family gatherings. I remember her playing & singing (she sounded just like Loretta Lynn), there was/is slot of talent in this family, wonderful memories. All the gatherings at Aunt Doug's, the music & all. We some how managed to keep in touch, not as often as we liked, but always glad to see each other. As this generation dwindles, may the next generation make new family memories.
