Eleanor Schoolcraft Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Schoolcraft of Groton, Connecticut, born in Mystic, Connecticut, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Foley and Elizabeth Walsh Foley; her husband Donald; and her siblings, Margaret and Thomas Foley.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Deborah) of Ledyard, David (Debra Dee) of Hebron, Sheryl Brown of Groton and Alan of Los Angeles; and her grandchildren, Jacqueline Flannery, Jeffery Schoolcraft, Kathleen Schoolcraft and Nicole Schoolcraft. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Eleanor was a member of Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut for over 30 years, volunteering in their charity bookstore.
