He was predeceased by: his parents, George Martin and Mary Martin (Walsh); his wife Jeanne; his sons, Edward Martin, Jr. and Joseph Martin; his granddaughter Katie Karlak; and his son-in-law John Karlak.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Golino (Joseph) of Vernon, Teresa Karlak of Naugatuck, Linda Zifchak (Gregory) of Port Ewen, NY and Jeanne Martin of Mystic; his daughter-in-law Michelle Martin; and his caregivers, Ama, Amelia, Nancy M, Melissa, Nancy S, Precious and Candace.
