He was predeceased by: his father William A. Brink. He is survived by: his mother Patricia E Raffuse Brink of Old Saybrook; his siblings, Gary Brink of Old Saybrook and Laurie Cromarty; and his brother-in-law Tim Cromarty of Old Lyme.

“Dave was such a good man. I work at Thrive55 in Groton where he was a regular staple to our family here. He was often found at our center, playing cards and making everyone laugh. One day, we were unable to serve lunch due to unforeseen circumstances. Dave and another patron put up their own money to order a several pizzas to share with other folks who rely on our lower priced meals. He was always generous with food. He never liked to see anyone hungry. He is sorely missed around here.”
