With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Lee Ferguson of Groton, Connecticut, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on June 30, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ferguson and Sarah F. Ferguson; his friend Bingo; his brother-in-law Johnnie Devereàux, Jr.; and his nephews, Little Johnnie, Lee Devereaux and Brandon Stringfield.
He is survived by: his daughter Danitra L. Ferguson; his grandchildren, Giovanni J. L. Ferguson of New London, CT. and Cheyenne L Day; his friend Henry Scudder of New London; his siblings, Yvonne Devereaux of Somerset, NJ, Joanne Shelby (Vidalia Ga), Issac Stringfield and Dexter Ferguson; and his sister-in-law Dana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
