He was predeceased by: his parents, David Colschen and Nora Colschen; and his brother Scott. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Christopher of Hamden and Elizabeth (Bryan) of Oakdale; his grandchildren, Hayden, Miles and Nora; and his brother Gregg (Sandra) of Montgomery, Texas..

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dinoto Funeral Home (17 Pearl St, Mystic, CT 06355). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
