It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Jenssen of Groton, Connecticut, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellwood Livermore and Jane Livermore; her husband John Jenssen; and her brother David. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Nelson and Martha Jenssen; her sister Kathleen Mitchell; her grandchildren, Stephanie and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Yarden and Arava.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fairview Nursing Home, where Barbara made her home since 2011.
