Leslie Carroll Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Carroll Jr. of Groton Long Point, Connecticut, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda "YoYo" Maher Carroll; his children, Jennifer Schildge (Daniel), Lesley Mahoney (Patrick), Melissa Kane (Shaun) and James Carroll (Jim Dunlop); his grandchildren, Grace, Olivia, Madeleine, Patrick Mahoney (Arianna), Jack, Carlin, Kallie Schildge, Michael and Caroline Kane; his sister Margaret "Peggy" Carroll Hill (Ed); his sisters-in-law, Nina Hunter (Alan) and Elissa Grady (James); and his godchildren, Sarah Huss and Robert Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church (69 Groton Long Point Rd, Groton, CT 06340).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to either Enders Island Recovery Program, 1 Enders Island, Mystic, CT 06344, or GLP Volunteer Fire Department, 1 Atlantic Ave, GLP CT 06340.
