Sarah Madden Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Madden (Greenwich, Connecticut), who passed away on October 24, 2018 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her grandmother Sally; her parents, William E. Donovan and Florence Siebert Donovan; her sister Nancy Donovan; her husband Donald P. Madden of Greenwich, CT; and her sons, Matthew Madden of Philadelphia, PA, Andrew Madden of Riverside, CT and Peter Madden of Brooklyn, NY.

“Sally was a classmate and friend while I was a student in General Studies at Columbia in 1966-69. I remember helping her polish the floor of a new apartment before she and her husband moved in. After I married Susan, we lost touch with each other but I have clear memories of her, generous, kind, fun to be with.
