It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert J. McKnight Jr. of Greenwich, Connecticut, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. McKnight, and Florence McKnight, Sr. (Muir); and his sister Alison McKnight. He is survived by: his siblings, John McKnight (Debbie) and Michele "Mimi" McKnight Tamburri (John Damberg); his daughter Missy McKnight (Beth McKnight); and his stepdaughter Jen (Weiner). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred D. Knapp Funeral Home (134 Hamilton Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Putnam Cemetery (35 Parsonage Rd, Greenwich, CT 06830).
