He is survived by: his parents, Edgar Nicholson Harland and Arline Peck Harland; his siblings, Elizabeth Gale Ritz (Edward) and Edgar Nicholson Harland, Jr.; his wife Mariellen; his children, Jonathan, Christopher (Kathleen) and Elizabeth (Jack Home); and his stepdaughters, Elisa Fischer (Harry) and Nancy Burr.
