He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne C. Johann and Otto G. Johann; his son James J. "Jimmy" Johann; and his sisters, Betty Anne Marciniak and Edwinna Dittmar.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara (McGrath) of Greenwich; his children, Deborah Blanchette (Kevin) of Byfield, MA, Susan Coates (Richard) of Katy, TX and Richard (Jon) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and his brother John "Jack" Johann (Jane) of Victor, Montana.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
The family extends its deepest appreciation to the doctors, especially Dr. Marcus Mayus, nurses and staff at Greenwich Hospital for their care in this terrible pandemic.
