He was predeceased by: his parents, Raffaele Soro and Giovanna Soro; and his brother Luigi. He is survived by: his wife Veronica McGinlay Soro; his sons, Rico Soro of Greenwich, CT, Giovanni Soro (Tom) of New Canaan, CT and Raffaele Soro (Anna); his grandchildren, Lucian, Brianna, Alexandra and Isabella; and his sister Maria Piu of Greenwich, CT.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research.
