She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul "Ed" Brencher and Vera Brencher; her son Jay Brooks; her siblings, Ruth and Paul; and her husband Bob (Bob).
She is survived by: her son Bob (Carol McFate Jensen) of Southport, NC; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth; her grandson Martin Jensen of Corpus Christi, TX; and her nieces, Lorraine, Lisa, Luann, Janice and Sandra. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Even during the Covid pandemic, Paula wished she could be out doing more to help others.
