She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Young and Eleanor Young; her former husband Hans Hansberg; and her sister-in-law Jan Young. She is survived by: her husband Peter Englert; her stepchildren, Vicki Giuffre (Frank), Lori Pankewicz, Julika Reggiano (Aldo), Dimitri Englert, Nina Harris (Alan) and Yuri Englert (Eva); her grandchildren, Amanda (Niko), Nicole (Alex), Jeffrey, Evan, Vladimir and Philomena; her brother Roger Young; her nephew Tim Young; her great-nephews, Evan and Oscar; and also Melanie Morefield (Joel).
