She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Angelo Michele and Gerarda Pennella; her husband Amato; her children, Angelo DiPaola (Maria), Gerry DiPaola (Maria) and Caterina Lowery (Scott); her grandchildren, Amanda, Marisa, Ricky, Jessica, Andrew, Brandon and Noelle; her great grandchildren, Jimmy, Danny, Alexander, Michael, Gianna and Matteo; and her brother Antonio Pennella. She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
