He is survived by: his parent Joseph Murphy; his siblings, Barbara Murphy of Huntsville, AL, Edward Murphy of Chevy Chase, DC and Bonnie Gilrane of Greenwich, CT; his siblings-in-law, Bruce Tripp, Patrick Gilrane and Donna Murphy; and his nephews, Timothy Gilrane, Ryan Gilrane and Michael Murphy.
