He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pasquale Esposito and Frances Esposito; his wife Roberta; his children, John and Linda; his grandchildren, Dean Jr. and Jason (Nicole); and his siblings, Angelo, Nick, Pat, Dom, Mary and Rose.

As he loved animals and birds, in lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory can be made to the Westport Humane Society.
