He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Nieves; his father-in-law Donald Raffa; his father Alberto Nieves; his grandparents, Jose and Candida "Tete" Gonzalez; his siblings, Alberto Nieves, Jason Nieves, Erica Nieves and Chacity Figueroa; his aunt Julia "Titi" Guzman; his uncle Jose Padrino; and his nieces and nephews, Jason Nieves Jr., Jhaleigh Adriana Estevez, Michael Jose Nieves, Joshua Nieves, Jaylene Nieves, Kassidy Leann Oliveras and Roman Manuel Sterling.
