She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Shea and Marie Shea; her children, Joan Sattler (Neal), Susan Ward and John Ward; her grandchildren, Jonathan Ward, Peter Ward, Dean Sattler and Alexandra Stevens; her great grandchildren, Keenan, Lincoln Ward, Bradley, Arden Stevens, Louis, Charles, Marc Chrisomalis-Sattler and Benjamin Ward; and her siblings, Lenore Braumuller and Jean Marie McDonough.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Joan's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkison's Research.
