He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Brassler Kane and Arthur Ferris Kane. He is survived by: his close friend Ann Dudley Belknap; his daughter Lisa Brown (Mike); his granddaughters, Katie and Jenny; his son Jim Kane (Kate); and his grandchildren, Jack and Lucie.
