He was predeceased by: his parents, Jenny Ignazio Ambrogio and Frank J. Ambrogio. He is survived by: his son Captain Francis John Ambrogio III of Fort Benning; and his former wife Martha Marie Poillon of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greenwich Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
