As David John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David John leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catherine Williams and Ewart Williams; his brothers, Lloyd Spencer Joseph and Ewart Joseph (Joe); his wife Elizabeth; his children, Victoria (Vicki), Zigmont (Jason) and Alexander (Alex); and his grandsons, Arthur and Ethan Williams. He was also cherished by his brothers, wife, children, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
