It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bartolomeo Giannone of Greenwich, Connecticut, who passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Giannone and Carmela LaSpina Giannone; his sister Mariolina; and his parents-in-law, Nicola Sgroi and Angelina Sgroi.

He is survived by: his wife Domenica Sgroi Giannone of Greenwich, CT; his children, John Giannone (Jennifer) of Fairfield, CT and Cynthia Colaiacovo (Steve) of Yonkers, NY; his grandchildren, Gabriella, Giancarlo and Marco Colaiacovo; his brothers, Mimmo Giannone (Grace) and Gaetano Giannone (Anna); his siblings-in-law, Peter Sgroi, Tony, Kathy Sgroi, Joseph, Sara Mortelliti, George, Grace Degenhardt, Gary and Josephine Racaniello; and his nieces and nephews, Daniela, Joseph, Nicole, Jennifer, Christopher, John, Rosalia, Jessica, Jackie, Tina, Giovanni and Francesca.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Craft Memorial (40 Leicester St, Port Chester, NY 10573). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church (84 Sherwood Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830).
