He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley D Mercier and Margaret Francia (Mercier); and his sister Nancy Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, Michael A. Mercier (Ruth) of Granby, Michelle Gibbons (Thomas) of East Windsor, Matthew Mercier (Elisabeth) of Harwinton and Christopher Mercier of Portland, ME; his grandchildren, Stephanie MacDonald, William Mercier, Megan Mercier, Jessica Gerbutovich-Williams, Justin Mercier and Grayson Mercier; and his siblings, David Mercier (Karen) of Enfield and Carole Kennedy (Jim) of Port Richie, FL..
