He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Olson, Sr. of Hartford and Mildred Olson (Usher); his wife Elizabeth; his daughter Nancy; and his siblings, John and Janet.
He is survived by: his children, Susan J. (Scott Allison) of Millis, MA and David P. Olson (Eugénie); his grandson Dashiell B. Olson of Arlington, MA; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Olson of Gales Ferry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
