She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. Wurdig Jr. and Ethel Mae Power; her son Marc Russell; and her sister Louise Hammond. She is survived by: her children, Marla Smith of Suffield, Melinda Gomes (Dean) of Chesterfield, VA and Matt Russell of Winsted. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
