He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Waltman and Harry Waltman. He is survived by: his wife Shawnna Waltman; his children, Jennifer Vincent (Zack), Joseph Waltman (Kristin), Victoria Shiver, Dillon Shiver and Brooke Shiver; his grandchildren, Gavin, Kendall, Annabel and Josephine; and his siblings, Harry Waltman (Debbie), Michael Waltman (Robin), Frank Waltman (Kim) and Jeanne Turner (Dan). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and adoring friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pomona Police Officers' Association, 174 West McKinley Ave., Pomona, CA 91768.
