With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry G. Rau III of Granby, Connecticut, born in Manchester, Connecticut, who passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry George Rau, Jr. and Isabella Falconer Rau. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Rau (Giddings); his children, David Rau (Katelyn) of Sudbury, MA and Carolyn Rau (Michaella) of Marlborough, MA; his grandchildren, Isabella and Grayson Rau of Sudbury, MA; his sister Sandra Ferrari (Edward) of Woodbridge, VA; and his brother-in-law Mark Giddings (Chris) of Springfield, MA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Hank's memory can be made to the Granby Land Trust, PO BOX 23, Granby, CT 06035, or to Habitat for Humanity North Central Connecticut, PO Box 1933, Hartford, CT 06144.
