He was predeceased by: his parents, Euclide Fontaine and Eva Fontaine (Riley); his wife Florence Ahrens Fontaine; his son Mark A. Fontaine; and his siblings, Ralph Fontaine Sr., Edmond Fontaine, Richard Fontaine, Irene F. Daigle and Florence Mannie.
He is survived by: his daughter Marianne F. Fontaine (Anita L. Myers) of Granby.
