The memory of Evie May Guay of Granby, Connecticut, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawerence M. Watkins and Arva Watkins (Mitchell); her brother Paul Watkins; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Martinez, Verl Neider and Walter Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Theodore G. Guay of Granby; her children, Michael (Heidi), Matthew Guay of Granby, CT, Monique (Christopher White), Michele (Thomas Pagani) of South Windsor, CT and Marietta (Steven Sessions) of Suffield, CT; and her siblings, Lawerence Watkins Jr. (Kitty), Dennis Watkins (Joan), Caroline Martinez, Mary Sue Neider and Elizabeth Williams. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1000 Mountain Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, her family is considering taking donations to create a memorial in her memory in a place that she loved.
