He was predeceased by : his wife Cynthia M. Van Duyne; and his parents, Raymond Duyne and Emma Van Duyne (Ritter). He is survived by : his children, Luanne Lundquist, Rick Van Duyne (Laurie) and James Van Duyne (Theresa); and his grandchildren, Danielle Lundquist, Tyler and Ben Van Duyne.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thurston Rowe Funeral Home (283 Torrington Rd, Litchfield, CT 06759). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery.
