“I am so sorry to hear that Charlie has left us. He was in my class. I enjoyed walking home from school with Charlie and Donny Judson. They would say goodbye on West Side Road where they both lived and I would continue walking up the road to my house. Charlie showed me a great place to access the brook behind Donny's house. The boys set up a rope on a firm tree limb. They loved to swing on that rope and drop into the brook where the water was deepest. Charlie was a great guy with a kind heart.”
