It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas V. Gearing (Glastonbury, Connecticut), who passed away on November 14, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Gearing; his sisters, Alida Vasso and Dorothy Freiler; and his parents, Robert Gearing and Alida Gearing.

He is survived by: his wife Wendy Gearing of Meriden; his children, Patti Paul (Tim) of Vernon, Ryan Gearing, Brandon Gearing of Meriden and Michael Gearing (Julia) of Coventry; his stepdaughter Jennifer Kromer (Joe) of Easton, PA; his grandchildren, Jessica Magnuson of Brattleboro, Bailey Whelchel of Burlington, VT, Shelby Whelchel of Hinsdale, NH, Carson, Madison, Griffin Neilander of Wallingford and Paul Gearing of Coventry; and his stepbrother Dick Dann (Charlene) of Cromwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
