It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Shannon of Glastonbury, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Gilbert Shannon and Viola Shannon (Decker). He is survived by: his wife Janet Shannon (House); his children, Lisa Shannon Nolt (Bob DeVito) of Hebron and Mike Shannon (Jen) of Glastonbury; his brother Roy Shannon (Pam) of Glastonbury; his sister-in-law Sally Riddell of Glastonbury; and his grandchildren, Allison, Ryan, Luke, Tommy and Zach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
