He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas A. Shettle and Josephine Shettle (Janak); his wife Simone Shettle; his son Kenneth B. Shettle; and his siblings, Joseph, Thomas, William and Jule.
He is survived by: his son Gregory R. Shettle of Glastonbury; his granddaughter Amanda Beaulieu (Nelson); his great grandchildren, Meadow of Wilmington and Autumn of Wilmington; and his friend Geraldine Webster.
