We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2023, at the age of 72, Raymond F. Murphy of Glastonbury, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond P. Murphy and Alvira Murphy (Lorenzini); and his siblings, Charles Murphy, Sharon Thomas and Joyce Downing.

He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Murphy (Tomilonus); his sons, Joshua Murphy (Winifred Maloney) of Manchester and Jordan Murphy of Glastonbury; his brother Douglas Murphy of Anderson, SC; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Thomas of Lincoln, NE, Deborah Tedford (Walter) of Coventry, Pamela LaPenna of West Hartford, Cheryl Fasnacht of Glastonbury and Jeannie Murphy of Monroe, NC; his mother-in-law Patricia Tomilonus of Glastonbury; and his foster brother Jimmy Horne (Barbara) of Willington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance or the American Heart Association.
