He was predeceased by: his wife Lois P. DiCara; his parents, Salvatore DiCara and Rosalia DiCara (Colombi); his granddaughter EmmaKate DiCara-Tichenor; and his sons-in-law, John Tichenor and Larry Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, John DiCara (Dianna) of Winsted, CT, David "Doc" DiCara (Susan) of Winsted, CT, Ram DiCara (Jim) of West Columbia, SC, Phyllis DiCara (Frank DeMaio) of Newington, CT, Elizabeth DiCara of Jersey City, NJ and Marie Rearick of Glastonbury, CT; his grandsons, Cody DiCara (Sarah) of Alameda, CA, Daniel Rearick of Keene, NH and James Tichenor (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Juniper and Caleb of Seattle, WA.; and his sisters, Mary Angela DiCara, Rose Surdam and Elizabeth Germon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
