He is survived by: his children, John P. Mitchell of Glastonbury, James E. Mitchell (Dori) and Juanita Dutton (James) of Glastonbury; his grandchildren, Philip Mitchell (Meg Taylor), Kristin Mitchell, Ashley Gionfrido (Matthew), Drew Mitchell (Courtney), Jessica Dutton and Justin Dutton (Nicole Roncaioli); his great grandchildren, Garrett, Skylar, Logan and Olivia; and his niece Dawn Mitchell of Colchester.
