He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Govoni (Magoon); his parents, John P. Govoni and Marguerite Govoni (Cashman); and his siblings, Matthew Govoni and Kathleen Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristen Govoni (Christopher Gatti) of Lebanon and Carolyn Zimmer (David) of West Hartford; his grandchildren, Oliver, Levi Gatti, John, Joseph, Noelle and Maisie Zimmer; and his brothers, John Govoni (Dorothy Giarla) of Boston, MA, Mark Govoni of Albuquerque, NM and James Govoni (Jeffrey Jorney) of Bowie, MD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
