He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Conneely and Mary Conneely (McDonough); his wife Theresa (Maher); his sisters, Maureen (Sean Faherty) and Bridie (Pat Connolly); his sister-in-law Patricia Conneely; and also Pat Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Conneely (Jim Perrine), Peter Conneely (Ireland) of Clifden, Mary (Jeff Zeman) and Margaret (John Walsh); his grandsons, Sean, Matthew Zeman and Jack Walsh; and his siblings, Sean (Julia Conneely), Brian Conneely of Wethersfield, Micheal (Mairin Conneely), Anthony (Kathleen Conneely), Theresa Joyce of Oakland, CA, Colm (Eileen Conneely) and Ruairí Conneely of Inis Meáin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hartford Gaelic Athletic Association to keep Irish sports thriving.
