She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Mulligan; her parents, Harold Burton and Henrietta Burton (Ward); and her brother Frederick Burton. She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine (Jonathan Marshall) and Rachel (Michael Pickard); and her grandchildren, Ben, Sarah Marshall, Emma and Julia Pickard.
