He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Mullarkey (Sayers); his parents, Teresa Mullarkey, (Neylon) and Edward J. Mullarkey, Sr. (America); his son James M. "Jay" Mullarkey; his siblings, Sean Mullarkey, Margaret Mullarkey (Peggy) and Maureen Cosgrove; and his brother-in-law Joseph Cosgrove.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Ann Mahder (David) of Fairfield, Edward Mullarkey (Debra) of Tolland and Mark Mullarkey (Anna) of Wethersfield; his daughter-in-law Sharon Hennessey of Hartford; his grandchildren, Kevin Mahder (Jacquelyn), Meghan Stuer (Shaun), Katherine Moretti (Nick), Patrick Mullarkey, Erin Scott (Juan), James Mullarkey, Emma Mullarkey and Katelyn Mullarkey; and his great grandchildren, Ada, Sloane, Sawyer, Charlotte of Quinn, J. J. and Codie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home (34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Parish (544 Prospect St, Wethersfield, CT 06109).
