He was predeceased by: his wife Angelie Dadona (Pires); his parents, Frank Dadona and Julia Dadona (Jacomini); and his siblings, Frank Dadona, Maria DiMartini, Eleanor Bronzi, Marie Calamari and Carmel Blacha.

He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Dadona of Brattleboro, VT; his sister Jean Gasparini of Glastonbury; his stepchildren, Peter Pires (Christine) of Sunshine, AZ and Barbara Yoo (William) of Yarmouth Port, MA; and his grandchildren, Peter Pires Jr. (Jayme) of Tolland, Paul Pires, Sr. (Allison) of Tolland, Nicole Parmalee (Scott) of Enfield, Christopher Pires of Avondale, AZ, Kelly Haynes-Meyers (Andy) of Sharon, MA and Matthew Yoo (Jeanette) of Rochester, MA. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
