He is survived by: his wife Virginia Alegre; his children, Carlos Alegre (Judy Alegre) of Wethersfield and Cristina Alves (Angelo Alves) of South Glastonbury; his grandchildren, Danny Alves, Jessica Alegre (John Dibiase), Carlos Alegre (Tanya Alegre) and Carla Alves Novo (Bruno Novo); and his great grandchildren, Xavier, Scarlett, Cristiano and Leonardo.
