Fritz Cat wrote a sympathy message

“I’m so deeply sorry to read that Greg has departed this life. He was like a brother to me, and I loved him dearly. We both experienced a stroke at the same time and were housemates at the Trurig House at Gaylord Hospital. We both grew up in West Hartford, and would literally spend hours talking on the phone about our childhoods. My husband and I would visit him when he lived in East Hartford. We’d bring him food and my husband would fix things for him. I tried calling him and knew something was wrong because his phone didn’t go to voicemail, the service had been terminated. I will miss calling Greg and asking him “are you still alive?” He’d always reply, “I think so!” Cynthia Mancuso”
